Lion’s Pearl is a queer fantasy comic that follows a young prince, Leonardo Devire, and his servant, Piety Nunez. The comic shows them both from early childhood through adulthood as they unknowingly prove themselves worthy to replace two gods of death. The story touches on topics such as the real side of immortality, and the true cost of wars and how they affect young children.
While the comic has a dark side, it also shows how kindness and love for others can make a cruel world bearable. Be prepared to dive into an ever changing world filled with magic and mysteries that go to show that even tragedies can have touches of comedy.
Hello! My name is Antheon, also known as Crimson Deceit. I am a self taught comic artist and writer. I actually went to school for costume design, so comics were never something I focused on or studied in school. However, ever since I was young I had always dreamed up fantasy worlds and created characters to express how I felt about life around me. This story is something that was very personal to me and at 17 I started brainstorming ideas. I'm now deep into my 20s, and this story has taken over my every waking thought. So I decided it was finally time to share it with others. I have written and illustrated the entire comic myself, so I genuinely hope you all enjoy it, and thank you so much for supporting me!
